Phone Systems Installer

Telx Telecom, a major telecommunications company and VoIP Phone System Installers leader seeking a NOC Specialist. Headquartered in Cooper City, FL with a staff of 70+ employees, we are a rapidly growing, leading edge company. Our services include local, long distance, T-1’s, PRI’s and VoIP. This individual will work closely with other departments.

Responsibilities:

Physical installation and configuration of end-user CPE and maintenance of Data/Voice/Integrated T-1’s
Responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting and responding to network hardware and software problems utilizing hardware software testing tools and techniques.
Perform investigation and research for system environments (i.e., reporting systems, switching systems, computer systems, etc.) to assist in resolving complex programming problems or identifying solutions
Ensure completion of projects within established timeframes.

Requirements:

PBX Installation Experience
Data T1/Voice T1 using Cisco
Voice and/or Data T-1 w/Cisco (is a plus)
SIP/VOIP (is a plus)
Minimum 2-5 years experience in similar capacity
Ability to multi-task, handle high volume or varied responsibilities accurately – time management!
Customer service and detail oriented.
Problem solving skills
Willing to be on call 24/7
Network troubleshooting skills in Windows XP
Telecommunications in general: PSTN, SONET.
CCNA Certification (is a plus)
